COMPETENCY ACQUISITION
A4M make use of three learning strategies:

The first being an Organisational Competency Acquisition Process which is linked to a skills plan, transforming  the organisation into a  learning organisation. 

 The second approach is  to deliver short training courses, some which are aligned to SAQA, relevant to the organisation’s development plans. 

​The third approach is to improve employee formal qualifications through a tertiary Institution , based on employee career  discussions.

Competency Acquisition in the workplace (CAW) is a process to transform any business into a learning organisation. The traditional approach of training is transformed into a learning process which is linked to qualifications.

A learning organisation is a growing organisation.
BEST PRACTICE
A best practice is an agreement that standardizes the most efficient and effective way to accomplish a desired outcome. 

To ensure total alignment to organisational objectives, current practices are transformed through a process called Job Design to create Best Practices. Best Practices reduces the risk of  quality defects and re work.
LEAN MANUFACTURING
A4M realizes the value of LEAN  and therefore apply these tools & techniques in the workplace to stimulate continuous improvement. A lean environment requires a different style of management, style of leadership, performance measurements, organizational structures, thinking, and culture. This approach is methodical and requires detail and discipline. Based on the principles of 20 key’s and lean manufacturing.
BUSINESS ALIGNMENT AND CONTROL
A4M consult on 5 keys: Organise, Focus, Manage, Improve & Grow,   assisting organisations in achieving Excellence and sustainability through practical solutions. 

These keys are driven and managed through project & change management principles with clearly defined goals. To ascertain the  level of maturity in the organisation,  an audit is conducted which will form the basis of departure.

This approach also improves the organisation’s competitive edge, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement , continuous learning.
mAINTENANCE EFFECTIVENESS
A4M assist organisations in their planning of maintenance. This includes repairs and optimising of plant and associated devices. The tools and know how applied will ensure plant availability and product quality at minimum cost without sacrificing standards.  

Planned maintenance, adhoc  maintenance and emergency work  is planned according to the organisation’s Maintenance Procedures and systems.
