Overview 
Learners will gain a sound appreciation in production planning, production process value adding, maintenance effectiveness, caring for tools & equipment, communication, quality improvement and how to promote safety in the workplace. ​

Participant Profile 
Employees such as Operators, Process Operators, Artisans, Quality Inspectors will benefit from this qualification and increase their understanding of the operation in which they are employed and how to best add value in these processes. 

Duration 
Learners spend a total of 31 days in the classroom over a period of 12 months.

Learning & Assessment 
Facilitation is followed by workplace observation, on-the-job coaching and the completion of logbooks. Learners are ultimately assessed on their ability to perform on the job , make decisions regarding quality, efficiency, waste, communication, teamwork, safety & problem solving abilities.
